Wouldn’t it be great if you could cause your phone to self-destruct if it were stolen? Liability aside, it would be a hoot. I can see the App now: “Immolate”—protects your phone and your data.
There’s a video of a guy that wired a phone to give off electric shocks. In fact, I think the same guy made four or five videos. I can’t remember what he called them. I watched them all, though; they were hilarious. That phone packed quite a jolt. The various thieves couldn’t throw it down fast enough. (The best video is where a guy slipped the stolen phone into his pocket. He was in pain, trying to dig it out and toss it.)
