There was an article I came across before the election that noted the difference in election night parties. H had an enormous bash planned in a convention center with a glass ceiling and fireworks barge which of course was cancelled before election day. The Donald chose a subdued affair at the New York Hilton with only select invitation only guests. The article stated he was superstitious and didn’t want to jinx things. To me this is very telling in terms of money spent and how the campaigns were budgeted as well as the character of each candidate.
