One of the great problems with our political system is the good-old-boy (gal) network that is so strong. People like Bob Dole, John McCain and Mitt Romney run for the office because it is “their turn” and not because they have anything to offer to the country.

Donald Trump has broken the mold and has performed the greatest upset perhaps of the history of the United States.

Hillary Clinton was one that believed it was her turn . . . and like Dole, McCain and Romney - she was rammed down the throats of America even though she was vastly disliked and untrustworthy.

Why did she win the popular vote? 40% of her vote were from the entitlement crowd, 40% or so wanted a third 0bama term with a continuation of his globalist policies . . . while, in my opinion, the other 20% were excited about the prospect of the first woman president and felt she would do the country good.

On the other hand, the voters for Trump were fairly united across the board and were voting for the America they grew up in and the Supreme Court. That would be roughly my generation or anyone born from 1950 on. However, there was a number of millennials that cast for him because they simply did not wish to be saddled with the debt of the last 12 years and wanted someone that would see that the bills were paid.
