While watching The O'Reilly factor he was talking about how the media helped to elect trump because of the Trump bashing that occurred and how the American public got tired and grew numb to the things they said. He went on to say that "some of that even happened on this network, as a few commentators tried to make names for themselves at the Trump's expense"
That's a little foreshadowing of what will happen to her and her future on Fox.
Murdoch also posted an article in his Daily Mail paper about her affair with Brit Hume.

I saw it too and immediately thought he dissed Megyn Kelly.

O’Reilly showed commie racist Van Jones making an ass of himself. Then, by the halfway mark in the show, O’Reilly was taking credit for electing Trump. What a tool.
The...ONLY...reason Trump was on camera so much was the establishment, including Fox news, assumed they would take him out.
He played them...he and we refused to lose or back down.

Mis-titled it - after 3 hours of sleep last night.
O’Reilly is wasting his programming time going after Megyn.
She’s far younger that he is, and about mid-point in her career. Bill is due to retire in the next one to three years.
All she has to do is ‘lay low’ and out last him.
If her success bothers his ego that much, it will be his to his own detriment. As far as I can tell, she means more to the Murdoch brothers than he does.
The Daily Mail article is all about generating buzz for her book launch next week.
The Murdochs are 110% in on Kelly, they bought her with the book deal which is never going to make back the giant advance ($10 million IIRC) they paid her.
The attempted kill shot on Trump in the first debate and the continued Trump-bashing was simply Kelly delivering for her owners, the Murdochs.
One part of O’Reilly talking point was about Obamacare being unconstitutional, 8 years late, Bill.
And that Obama planned economy O’Reilly had fits about years later, was he going to wait until Hillary was elected to say something about her planned economy? Yes.
