When my college room mate was killed in an airplane accident, I really lost it. It was mid May and finals were starting in 3 weeks. I went to my profs and told them what I was up against. One of them made one of the best suggestions: Eat a piece of chocolate cake and vacuum the living room.
I actually did that and made it through the finals and the memorial. Toughest 3 weeks of my life.
