We’re having some much needed rain in Central TX. Picked some cucuzza and peppers which are the only things in my garden right now.

I wish I had fun things to report, garden-wise, but I’m pretty much done for the season. And yet, the KALE remains, LOL!
Beau is back from Elk Hunting in WY. He got skunked, but is going to CO week after next, so there’s still hope. He brought back some awesome shed horns and a bunch of really nice pine cones for me for Christmas Decor. This is my first Christmas at the farm, so I’m going to decorate everything, ‘naturally.’
I have all kinds of evergreen boughs to use, red twig dogwood and lots of pretty Birch branches/logs by the fireplace, etc. That’ll keep me busy for a few weeks, hunting and gathering around the property. :)
Supper will be baked chicken, butternut squash (from the garden) and a salad - with some KALE in it! (Please make it stop, LOL!)
Our weather has been amazing. We haven’t even had a hard freeze yet...and that usually happens in mid-October. The lawn looks shaggy, but it’s November; I’ll be d@mned if I’m mowing any more, LOL!
I’ll post a few more garden/farm/pet pictures in a bit. Gotta go do the afternoon Dog/Puppy/Barn Cat/Raccoon/Mule chores. Life Is Good!
