They would say that. But its pure ignorance to decide an entire volcano is holy and that I must follow this ignorant.
The modern world is better in every way than Hawaii of 200 years ago. Food, medicine, fear of magic is gone, old Hawaii was as violent as you could get. And if they are so reverent, why are they normally fat and drunk and violent today?
This “noble savage” routine is laughable.
