A friend mentioned to me recently that there are many nun Halloween costumes available on Amazon.com, but not a single hijab costume. So I checked. Yep, there are many nun costumes, some of which are quite racy. But there is not a single hijab costume.
I guess there's just no interest in a hijab costume. What other reason could there be?
I guess there’s just no interest in a hijab costume.
Cause garbage bags are just so expensive this year?
You can kiss a nun once or twice but, don't get in the habit.
Now that’s funny right there.
Sure their are - you just dress as death.
Or just splash the crotch of your jeans if you are female and go as FGM.
The burka and hijab are ALSO "regular" clothing for those societies that require them. The WOMEN hold the honor of the female and her ENTIRE family so HER behavior is closely monitored.
True story, FWIW.
While we lived in the K.S.A. I saw MANY women wearing the burka OR hijab. They all wore a VEIL when out in public as well. One can only see race and age via their hands and feet.
I was at a fruit and vegetable souq (market) near Dhahran one time and a woman was bent over some vegetables. As I approached her I noticed that she had her veil lifted up to be able to SEE the produce.
As I stood next to her she looked at me. Lol. She had very OLD green eyes AND she smiled at me: uhoh, NO teeth. I THOUGHT: "Oooo, lady, put that veil BACK DOWN....oooooogly!"
She PROBABLY wasn't more than ten or fifteen years older than me but she looked ANCIENT.
OOoooo, I just remembered the FISH souqs and their, er, "aroma." Good golly, Miss Molly!
The Gulf there DID have a wonderful white fish called "hamur." It didn't take long for THAT fish to disappear because of all the petroleum drilling. Too bad.
That is 2/3 of a pun: P...U!
It doesn’t take much imagination to cut a slit in a black tablecloth and put it over your head.
NO-TEE!!
Similar to a ghost costume.:-)
Just use a black trash bag Works the same.
