Just got my renewal for Blue Cross here in Texas. A 67% increase and deductible raised from $6000 to $6500.

To Self. How are the Texas papers, TV and radio talk-shows reporting this massive Obamacare price increase?

Let us know. That is where a potential revolt against the Dems will come from.

Great timing on the increase announcements. Let’s blame it on a Trump infiltrator who put it out. sarc/

BCBS of Panama for a comparable policy is $78/month. Yes, seventy eight. Other countries seem to be doing things better. Panama has Johns Hopkins affiliated hospitals.

My plan also got cancelled and the new plan cost twice as much. My husband’s plan stopped covering the hospitals and doctors we use, and the plan he is looking at costs even more than mine! We are both weighing our options. FUBO!

Call your Congressman and Senators and ask them to allow you to sign up under their gold-plated non-Obamacare plan.

Since you are paying for it also.

I feel your pain brother.

Last year I had to shut down my consulting business and go back to work for The Man. We had four on our plan. The Mrs. and two 20 somethings. $5,000 deductible each and $2,400 per month. So we’d have to spend $48,000 a year before we saw a penny of coverage.

VOTE TRUMP!!!!

Our current premium is $1101 a month with a $6k deductible, 50% coverage after that. I’m self-employed, my wife’s retired, and I make too much to qualify for a subsidy. The bad news is, that BCBS of TN got approval for a 62% increase. The good news (I think) is that BCBSTN has decided to pull out of the exchange, leaving only Humana as the sole provider for the state. Just trying to hang on until April 2 when I turn 65....

We are just dang fortunate that Obammycare exempts our legislators. They are overloaded now just trying to keep up with current personal and pubic scandal.

To subject our best would likely do harm to our country and divert the many suits and robes now toiling relentlessly to destroy us. We need to just let them be.

And if you lost your job because of an employer bankruptcy, you have the option to continue COBRA indefinitely.

Look into it. I found this out after my COBRA ran out and I spent $110,000 for bypass surgery. I was ten months away from medicare.

Should have sued the bastards. Up until that time I always had insurance even though most of the time I was self-employed.

Similar cases of reasonable healthcare costs in Costa Rica, France, Italy, Colombia, Ecuador...I have to admit, I am intrigued! Most people in other countries speak some (or more) English. I’ve never had a language barrier anywhere we traveled...

Same here, and my deductible is up, but they won’t allow me to increase my HSA at the same time.

Thank you Obama, I like the smell of burnt ozone in the Morning

My sincere sympathies.

Just yesterday I was notified that I reached my coverage gap for the year. Big whoop. Two months left of the year. Whoop.
