Okay, I reported on Monday that I went to my early voting location at Tamarac library in Broward County, Florida. The line was way too long for me to stand on especially since I didn't have headphones on me to listen to the radio to kill time.
I drove by the same location yesterday and it was the same story: looooooong lines. Therefore I set my alarm for 5:50 AM today because an elections official on Monday told me there was not much of a line when the voting opened at 7 AM.
This morning I showed up at the back door line at 6:50 AM. Only about 6 or 7 people standing on line ahead of me. The door opened promptly at 7 AM the wait after that was so short that after they checked my photo ID and handed me my ballot, I looked at my cellphone clock and it was only 7:07.
I then went to the designated area to mark my ballot then have it scanned, and hand it in. On the way out of the library I again looked at my cellphone clock. It was 7:23. So very fast and it sure beat the at least one hour wait on the lines later in the day.
So if you had wanted to vote early in Broward county or anywhere else with loooooong lines, I recommend you vote early EARLY.
I did some shopping and drove by the library a little after 8 and there still seemed to be no wait so if you can't make it the moment the early voting opens up, even an hour after opening should still be okay.
You should all try to get at least a couple of your relatives or friends who normally don't vote to VOTE. Just make sure they vote Trump.

Did you calculate the time spent coming and going, gas, etc.
Even though my Presidential vote doesn’t count in liberal deep blue MD, I still participate.
It really counts in local and statewide stuff.
10 years ago, my wife never made it out to vote in a City Council election. Our candidate lost by one vote, later overturned in a re-count.
Last year, in a new city and state, my son didn’t get his absentee ballot in on time from college. Our chosen city council candidate had a tie. The city had no provision for a tie breaker, so it took several months of wrangling to get a new candidate appointed and approved.
I had to apologize to the Mayor on behalf of my son.
Yeah, like only 5 minutes to drive there. Plus I had to do some shopping nearby so I was going that way anyways.
Went to the library in Reno, Nv. at 3pm yesterday. No wait. 2 observers. Easy.
I hope you are verifying who they plan to vote for before herding them to the polls.
I pulled of a similar trick here in west Knox Co., TN. Oct. 19 was the opening day and my voting place was mobbed all day. I waited a week until yesterday and voted at about 2:50 p.m. when I thought there would be very few people. I was right. Got in with no line and voted immediately, taking all of 10 minutes or so. My advice: Make your best guess as to when there will be an off day with an off time and vote then.
They are all for Trump. The main thing is to get them to actually VOTE which is what I will make sure they do.
Another good thing about early voting is now I feel relieved that I got it out of the way. Who knows what could happen on Election Day. At least now I KNOW my vote has been cast.

Broward is voting heavy, but still behind 2012 levels. I think there was a D strategy to try and give aura of “inevitability” with heavy early voting. Ain’t workin’.
I voted in Boca Raton last evening. It was maybe a 20 minute wait, tops. Since we are in the heart of the butterfly ballot fiasco in 2000, we use paper ballots here. All in all, well organized.

3 pm Tuesda I voted at the County building in downtown Atlanta, as I have since moving to ATL.
In prior 2014, 2015, 2016 elections I was the only white person and all other voters were Black. That is the demographic of who lives or works near here. (I’m the minority here.)
This time all voters were White, 90% White male.
Previously a rate of 20 or 30 voters per hour 3 - 5 pm as I stand around and watch.
This time about 2 voters per minute, over 100 per hour and 90% white male.
I had office clothing on.
All other white males had construction/warehouse type clothing on.
Maybe this says something.
My wife voted early yesterday here in Hillsborough County (south of Tampa).
She told me there was a long line but it moved quickly. We have the optical scanner. Fill in the circle with black pen and feed it into a scanner, but there is the paper trail if needed.
I am going to vote this weekend and take my parents. Whole extended family is voting Trump with the exception of an Aunt who is a Registered Dem, but does not want to pull the trigger for Trump but despises Hillary, she said last week she is going to vote for Jill.
I am going see if I can change her mind, but worst case, its a non vote for Hillary of a Registered Dem.
Same here in Broward. What I also like is they take our drivers licenses and swipe it to verify our registration and to get us the proper ballot.
That is the way to do it. Bring the whole family. I got all my adult sons on board, and my wife and my mother. This approach is best and the word does spread.
I never have to worry about standing in line as I vote by mail. Additionally, I can take my time researching each race over a beer or two.
