“Time to move on”

Agree. But, sadly, Paterno’s son and family won’t move on. They continue to say Pa Joe was innocent which is bull. At a minimum joe knew and refused to deal with it or at worse was an enabler or even the worse a participant. Take your pick. But innocent ain’t an option.

As an OSU fan l have to give credit to PSU, but, that non call for obvious pass interference was huge. Not saying OSU would have won, but that was the definition of pass interference. So many games decided by poor officiating. IMHO. Congrats PSU.

I have to agree, emphatically, that that (non)call was ugly. Field goal range if that is a spot foul in college as it is in the pros.

My wife said a commentator said there were missed calls favoring both sides . . . but that was a real stinker. Pass hit the receiver in the head - and the defender prevented the receiver from using his right arm.

There’s no way that the officiating does not affect the outcomes of games.
Awful thought: what if the officiating were as corrupt as the MSM!

I knew Joe Paterno and I'd cut off all five of my limbs if Joe enabled this perversion to go on.

BTW, it's Joepa, not Pa Joe, and he is in Heaven and probably forgives you, but I DON'T.

Regardless of what the Paterno family is doing, my points are the same.

The penalty has been paid.

The people directly involved have been punished and/or are dead.

The present day coaches and players had nothing to do with the sordid event.

Still holding PSU accountable for Sandusky is akin to the Cincinnati Reds organization still being ostracized or penalized because Pete Rose bet on baseball or the White Sox because Shoeless Joe threw games. That would be ludicrous.

Collective guilt is bunk and if you don’t believe it’s bunk, you must believe that white people who never owned slaves and who never condoned slavery should still be accountable for it.

To: Alas Babylon!

The way the season was going the Iron Bowl was looking more like the Rust Bowl but if Auburn keeps this up it will be worth seeing.

"I knew Joe Paterno and I'd cut off all five of my limbs if Joe enabled this perversion to go on." Well Bob, do you know what a guy with no limbs floating in the water is called? Bob. So, from now on I'm gonna call you Bob 😊 "BTW, it's Joepa, not Pa Joe, and he is in Heaven and probably forgives you, but I DON'T." No worries, I'm not seeking forgiveness from either of you, Bob......

Watch out for West Virginia. The one Big 12 team that can actually play defense.

These teams pretty much control their destiny:

Alabama
Michigan
Washington

Clemson could get squeaked out by West Virginia if they struggle like they have in some games. A lot will depend on their perceived strength of schedules. Yes I think WV will run the table, they are clearly the class of the Big 12.
