Nearly naked Hillary Clinton statue sparks fury downtown
She obviously puts Hillary on a pedestal.
A thin-skinned Hillary Clinton supporter went bananas after spotting a nearly nude, hoofed statue of the Democratic presidential nominee erected in lower Manhattan on Tuesday morning.
The misshapen caricature popped up outside the Bowling Green subway station at around 6 a.m., causing a rush hour commotion.
When reporters showed up at a West 35th Street address listed for Scioli, a young man there – who doesn’t resemble the alleged artist at the scene – said he knew nothing about it.
“That’s the nature of the work. It wasn’t built to last. I think it’s unfortunate,” the young man said. “I do believe satire gets to the truth of matters. It was lighthearted. The way it escalated is unfortunate.“
Before the downtown incident got heated, most passersby seemed to view the statue as harmless, witnesses said.
“When the lady started kicking it, then it got serious,” said Demetrius Aspinall, 22, who works at a nearby farmers’ market. “Just because you don’t like it, you shouldn’t be taking it upon yourself to destroy it.”
But Mirian Hernandez, a 62-year-old interpreter, said she understood the woman’s angry reaction.
“Oh my God that is disgusting,” Hernandez said. “As a woman I’m doubly offended … I guess that woman got offended. I would have just ignored it but sometimes you can’t ignore something.”
An equally offensive naked Donald Trump statue by the anarchist collective INDECLINE was erected near Union Square in August and remained all day until Parks workers finally removed it.

This might be the first time in a long time that anything or anyone got an “erection” regarding an image of Hillary.

Way, way back in the ancient 1970s, I was exploring the law school building at my Alma Mater. In the basement was a bulletin board, and on the board was a picture of Susan Ford in a swimming pool with some guy; it looked like they were cuddling. Both were grinning.
Someone had taped a piece of paper under the picture bearing this caption: "It's my first Presidential Erection."
