GMX.com is better than mail.com. Uses the same format, but you don’t get the ads like you do at mail.com.

I have a mail.com account I established as a “throwaway” account to give out to people and companies I really don’t want to hear from. I rarely go there to check it, but when I do, there’s hundreds of spam emails. Stuff I never solicited.
I just do “select all - delete”, and close it out. I never read them.
