They would only be making noise if Trump were president. But then again, if Trump were president, the odds are, we wouldn't be in this situation in the first place.
Mr. mm figures Putin is too politically savvy to be sucked into a war so close to election time that would screw up Trump’s chances of getting elected.

Let's include Hillary in the "inept" category also.
I see inept in this context as not being a President that upholds the Constitution and does everything possible to make America safe and recognizing that the USA is Constitutional Republic and act towards keeping it what it was intended to be.
Inept in pushing their agenda of helping Islam becoming more powerful in the ME, of doing all they can to bring Islamic principles and Sharia law to the USA?

Obama's top adviser is Islamist Valerie Jarrett, a Muslim Brotherhood big shot, and Hillary's top advisor is Islamist Huma Abedin whose family is deeply rooted in the MB also
Both of them have the goal of having Islam take over the USA and have Sharia law implemented across the land.
Just as an aside, lets not forget that Hillary gave uranium (remember the A bomb?) to her buddy Putin and was instrumental in allowing Iran to continue to develop nuclear weapons.
So war with Russia is also war with Iran, as they are aligned to keep Assad in power in Syria while Obama/Hillary are working with ISIS to get Assad out of office.

I would guess because hillary is a muslim sympathizer and probably doesn’t really care if she has an excuse to bomb Russia.
Probably self-preservation. I honestly do not think that Trump wants military action with Russia.
