Wait until the election. If Trump wins, the republican party will belong to him, and the never trumpers will have to make that choice.

I registered as an independent 10 years ago. One bad thing is FL has closed primaries, so I can’t vote unless there are independent candidates and only if there are more than one. Other than that it’s no different.

I have long considered myself to be a Conservative and not a Republican.
After this election I am finished with the GOP.
Kill the Republican party! Force those RINOs to become DimocRATS!

Start A new party for real Conservative Americans

It's an idea and probably several others have thought over too

The Constitution Party. I hate Ryan for everything he has/hasn't done up till now:

He has a 51%-F Liberty Score

I was registered with the California version of the Constitution Party, i.e. American Independent Party.

They're a big party only because lots of stupid people who want to register as 'independent' inadvertently sign up.

It's not much of a party, and they even have splinter groups within it, but they agree with me close to 100%.

I recently reregistered as Democrat so I could vote for Bernie only as a way to vote against the Hildebeest.

I was going to change back to AI, or maybe truly independent, but I think I'll stay as a Democrat for a while.

I might be able to infiltrate some Democrat events/meetings/cabals, etc. and do more good that way than by trying to shove my way past all the RINOS into a position where I could do anything for Trump.

The California Republicans seem to have tossed in the towel. They are falling over themselves to be kind to illegals and the environment. I'd be a lone voice if I joined back up with the GOPe.

no worries Fan. there is life after the uniparty. as an independent or “decline to state” or whatever you get to hide from the pollsters and their statistics and inflict maximum damage in general elections continuously—making them and the msm look like fools.

you also get the peace that comes with belonging to God, Country, Family and Friends alone. You might even want to become your own general, fund your own candidates directly and call your own shots like us tea “party” types. as for a new national political party, the existing structure has to be destroyed for that to happen. you’ll have to be patient for that but trump is doing a great job starting that process right now. may God bless you.

I imagine that if Ryan/Cornyn/McConnell get their way a new party will form very quickly from the Trump supporters. And hopefully a new television network can be set up to rival CNN/MSNBC/FoxNews.

Agree with the posters who say take over the Republican party.

The GOPe has the money but is rapidly losing the voters.

The GOPe has had to resort to some really sleazy and underhanded dirty tricks to defeat promising Tea Party candidates in the primaries.

Look at the guy who challenged RINO Mitch McConnell in Kentucky. He lost to McConnell, but then was able to win the governor’s race.

We just need good candidates who will run on putting America first, and they can defeat the open borders GOPe even against heavy funding.

Don’t go anywhere. Stay and be the establishments worst enemy. Abstain when necessary in the general elections from voting GOPe but by all means vote in the primaries against GOPe interests. The GOPe want to move the party left but they won’t be able to pull it off with millions of ankle biters attacking them. LOL.
