Hurricane Matthew has forced evacuations, the cancellation of vacations, and left hundreds of thousands in the dark. But the storm wont stop one Florida couples dream beach wedding.
Jaime Gurnavage and Ryan Gordon tell Florida Today that they chose their Saturday beach wedding for a reason.

After the storm surge hits there will be no beach left for the wedding.
After the GREATEST MOST POWERFUL storm surge IN KNOWN HISTORY hits there will be no beach OR FLORIDA ITSELF left for the wedding.

Most of the bravura posters here have never seen what a storm surge does to a beach or even a low-lying property near the water. Heck, even in a “normal” storm, the beach at Anastasia Island off of st Augustine is reduced to about three inches and now the city and county are wondering if expensive beach sand replacement (”renourishment”) is even worth it.
But of course jerks like this couple don’t think about that or even about how their guests, caterers and musicians are going to get there. It’s all about moi.
There is a LOOOOOOOOT of FL beach no where near the storm surge. I am guessing they don’t live in Jacksonville.

Well, I was trying to be (uncharacteristically) nice. But I can’t really disagree with you. Guy is smart enough not to disagree with her plans.
