Likely, it’s the sexual orientation of the referee, not her gender, that spurs the NFL’s defense of her.
As another poster said, she’s never played pro football....
Kind of like our Secretary of Defense, who never served in the military...
Hmm, she’s allegedly married to a guy, so it could just be ultra-PC, but the NFL is all about politics all the time these days, so who knows?
