French police, migrants clash near Calais camp

French police used tear gas and water cannon to put down violent clashes with migrants and activists who attempted to hold a banned rally beside the squalid "Jungle" camp in Calais on Saturday, regional authorities said.

While I understand that the migrants might be a little more difficult to dislodge, that doesn't apply to the activists. The French need to round those folks up and charge them with fomenting unrest..
