Tomorrow Barack Obama will hand the Internet as we know it over to a world body.
It's more than just the fact that the next time you sign in, everything you see has to be approved by the aforementioned globalist world body.
The Internet has now become a part of our daily lives. We use it to communicate, work and play.
Everything being sold now has the internet built in. From dishwashers to cars to microwaves to the curtains in your homes.
This world body will seek to spy on us, cut us off from each other and only people like Soros will have free access.
I myself am going to begin to wean myself off this tool as it will be going away soon.
What are some alternatives for
- Communication
- Knowledge
- Safety
Is there such a thing as local Internet that can be created inside the United States?
What about learning how to use an old style telegraph machine?
We of like mind need to begin to prepare.. as Obama is sending Muslim's to attack us.
And we won't have the comfort of the Internet to know what is going on around the world.
Do you think the World Body is going to approve of Free Republic?
Me neither. And I wouldn't shut it any other way. :)
0bama just following the Clinton’s in giving away American technology to our enemies.
* News sharing/content discovery through social media platforms is unchanged, though still biased toward the left. So getting news out through Facebook feeds and bots on WeChat remains an option.
* If you can get people engaged through an app and install it through various app stores, they can stay engaged and there is no censorship unless your app is banned from the app stores
Would it be possible for a private enterprise to someday create an Alternate Internet via satellite? I’m not too hip on this aspect of the digital age.
Books.
Yes, yes, and yes. Unfortunately he who has the ball can make the rules (new rules).
I had the same thought on this. Just scrap it and start over, yet this time make it better.

It may take awhile. Will be quicker if it’s free like it has been. President Trump should spend the money.

Dust off the bulletin board software and those old desktop units for servers.
If anybody can do it, America can.
Jesus is Savior. The only savior!! Those that don’t believe go to oblivion.
I lived most of my life having to write letters on real
paper, put them in envelopes and stick stamps on them and
put them in a mailbox. - We got a giant cellphone probably
25 yrs. ago to keep from having to keep stopping at every
payphone enroute anywhere. - We had no internet and, frankly, didn’t need it. We traveled and visited family
who lived away when we could. - Then everything got
complicated. Phones got tiny until now they are the size
or Oreo cookies. I had to do word processing on the
computer after my electric typewriter got outdated. -
(I carried my own MANUAL typewriter down to Huntsville, AL
to take a test for working at Marshall Space Flight Center
one summer when they were building the Saturn V rocket to
the moon. I thought surely I’d jinx it; but I didn’t manage
to.) :o/
We CAN live without a cellphone stuck in our ears or the
internet ruling our lives. JUST MAKE AN EFFORT AND STICK TO
IT!

The Internet has always been good at routing past damage, if things go sideways there are ways to recover. We shouldn’t be in this position at all, but I’m confident when the thought police shut us down we’ll find a way to come back. The worst case is we (rightwing) will be pushed into the shadows, hidden from Google, deleted from Twitter, etc, and to a small extent this is already what is happening in isolated cases. A mass purge is what the myopic left want and is exactly what will undo them in the end.
It seems to me the biggest threat is the control of the domains. They can just shut anyone off, at a whim. Oh sure they have rules, but rules are malleable, now more than ever. I see the whole thing in my mind.
The Word of God says that unbelievers do not go to oblivion--they are cast into Hell.
