Nothing new. The Paris, Limoges,Toulouse TGV has been promised for many many years, but there is never enough money.
Meanwhile, whatever is wanted elsewhere seems to get the go-ahead nod. The southwestern part of France is France’s “Flyover Country.”

Good ole TGV. They go well with IPAs. Too bad they’re not available at IHOP, KFC or JCP.
