Regarding all the "boycott the NFL" posts...I was starting to lean in that direction myself, but was pleasantly surprised by the show of respect and unity that the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons did on Monday Night Football: all members of both teams stood for the anthem, and then held hands in a circle afterwards.
It gave me hope for this country, and for professional football, that there are indeed good players out there who respect the flag.
