Requests public to not react to such rumours
Fujairah Police have denied claims that dog meat is being served in a restaurant in the emirate.
The authority posted the denial on its official Twitter account after news circulated on social media that a worker was arrested from a Mandi restaurant in the emirate when he was discovered selling dog meat.
Fujairah Police also called on the public to refrain from spreading and reacting to such rumors, adding that such news should be obtained from official sources. "

I ordered a burger at a dive joint restaurant here many years ago and I swore as I was eating it that it was camel meat. Likely from one hit on the road and salvaged.
