Probably just a rumor, but it doesn’t matter - there is a chance he could flip and sing - so his life is now worth spit because to Hillary he must be permanently quieted.
The existence of rumors that IT Guy may give evidence means that IT Guy had better be in protective custody or Witness Protection NOW. If there is a chance that he might do this then the Clintons will kill him and it will just be another random urban murder to which no significance will adhere.
If the Clintons think he might turn then he had better turn loudly and insistently NOW. If his information is out there and open there is no more profit in killing him.
