Let’s start with equality before the law; I like you pointed out Congress should be equally shackled by the laws they assign the people, but expand that. Any exemption to any law given to the federal, state or local governments applies equally to all citizens.

Sunset on all laws: All laws are required to be individually renewed after a report has been made on the effectiveness of the law every 10 years.

I don’t agree with term limits; I think simply eliminating any benefits (AT ALL) for any appointed or elected position would solve most of the issues. They can invest their salaries if they really want a retirement, or pay into social security. Term limits simply means they’ll get a lifetime ride from the taxpayers all that much quicker rather than having to wait until they are fired.

I don’t see how term limits give anyone a lifetime ride on the taxpayer? In fact by limiting terms the opposite will occur. Allowing a professional political class like we have now is definitely a lifetime ride!
