Las Vegas woman arrested in boyfriend’s death had stabbed him months earlier

The woman arrested Thursday in connection with the death of her live-in boyfriend Wednesday had been arrested at least twice before in domestic incidents involving the same man, records obtained Friday by the Las Vegas Review-Journal show.

One of those arrests came in February, and records show the woman, Lah’tijera Howard, 26, admitted at the time to stabbing her boyfriend, Darryl White, 34. Howard was still undergoing domestic violence counseling as a condition of her sentence when White was killed this week.

What a sad story. Sounds like the guy wanted to be there for his son and that he was trying to make things work to keep the family intact. He should have chosen a better woman to make a baby with, and he should have married her first. Poor little kid now with his best parent gone. Maybe some nice family will give him a loving home. I hope so.

African American moms, if you need to use a made up name -- USE it as a middle name - NOT as a FIRST NAME. Use a normal American name like Mike, Mark, Alex, etc...

That's probably true. I have always thought these ridiculous made up names were stupid.
Here, I thought it was only women who stayed too long with abusive men. This dude stayed too long with an abusive woman, and got himself killed for it. Not good.
