Sometimes you eat the catfish, and sometimes the catfish falls from the sky and smacks you in the face.
Lisa Lobree learned that lesson Labor Day morning when she was walking to meet her CoreFitness class near the Art Museum, heard a "rustling" in the trees, and then -.
Lisa Lobree, of Fairmount, was struck in the face Monday by an estimated five-pound catfish that fell out of the sky. She was in bad shape immediately after, but posed with the fish later on. "Suddenly I was slammed by something," Lobree recalled Friday. "I was like, 'What?!' I was freaking out."
The injuries: Minor. The trauma: Immeasurable. The theory: A bird was flying with the fish in its mouth and accidentally dropped it. On her face.

Nah, the bird knew what he was doing. Good shot.

This happened to me.
But I was innertubing behind a boat at the time.
And I think it was a bass.
Good shot indeed. The bird later posted a celebratory pic at FishBonk.com.
“Art Museum” - so that’s what she calls it...
Sharknado 5!!!
That reminds me of the time hubby was driving on a road about 2 miles from home. We couldn’t believe what we saw. Hundreds of dead fish in the road. It was like they dropped from the sky.
We had a large fish “appear” in one of our gardens this Spring. We figured the same thing, a larger bird must have dropped in there. Otherwise, we have no idea how it got there. It was dead, but it wasn’t nibbled.
I saw that guy on TV the other day, an alien show, he really looks like that, all this time I thought he was a made up character.
Yup. And he holds himself out as some sort of "expert".
His bachelor degree is in "sports information and communication".
No, I'm not making it up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giorgio_A._Tsoukalos

I got struck in MY near art museum .... and the way she did it .... it felt good.
Some scammer took the meaning of catfishing a little too literally.
