The Seahawks' Cliff Avril and Doug Baldwin told reporters Wednesday that they're contemplating joining teammate Jeremy Lane and 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in their national anthem protest.
In fact, Seattle's Bobby Wagner says the team has been talking about some sort of group action before Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET game against the Dolphins at CenturyLink Field, the Seattle Times reported.
Although Wagner said he didnt know if he would sit down during the anthem he said, anything we want to do, its not going to be individual. Its going to be a team thing. Thats what the world needs to see. The world needs to see people coming together versus being individuals.
Whatever we decide to do will be a big surprise, Wagner said, though he wouldnt say precisely what the team might do.

Way to spit on a large chunk of the fan base, yo.
Stop giving them your money.
When they have to get real jobs, they might be more appreciative.
So they don’t want to stand for the national anthem as a team? Keep it up NFL (National Felon League)...I’ll never watch another game.
I’m a hawks fan - I rather these dudes be more focused on beating Miami than what antics they want to pull for the anthem.
More sheer brainlessness, which is evidenced by the empty language and meaningless cliches.
“In yo face, America!” From da rich boys at da MFL.
Players need to do some headhunting on these guys and their team-mates. Start by taking out Russell Wilson with a season ending injury.
Dissent is patriotic!
They don’t seem to understand that the loss of attendance, viewership and ad revenue will affect their own pockets. I already don’t watch much NFL outside of the playoffs unless the Panthers are doing well. If this spreads, I’ll watch even less.
NFL thugs, unite!
Azzholes!
Stupid move...
Most Cubans are very proud Americans and love this country.
A very large part of the crowd will be of Cuban heritage...
They will not be happy...
We’ll see if I come out of it a Seahawk fan. Not looking too good at the moment, and that’s the NFL’s last chance with this fan.

I doubt Wilson will participate in this nonsense...
Simply ‘not watching’ won’t have as much an effect as contacting the sponsors that buy TV commercial time during games, to let them know why none of your money will be spent on their products.
Eff the NFL and its islamist facilitators.
At what point do the fans put an end to this garbage? All it takes for the paying customers, en masse, to say, ‘You overpaid yokels hate the national anthem, the flag and everything that they stand for? Fine, then we’re done supporting you.’
Pfffft. If this country is so bad how come they make millions from the white man? Whitey so evil give the money to charity.
They really, really don’t want me to watch do they.
