Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane, who said he plans to continue to sit during the national anthem this season, may not be doing so by himself when the team opens the regular season Sunday against Miami.
Seattle receiver Doug Baldwin said Wednesday he is also considering sitting during the anthem before Sundays 1:05 p.m. kickoff at CenturyLink Field while linebacker Bobby Wagner said the team has been talking about a group action.

Play the anthem while the spoiled brats are still in the locker room. That’s what a soccer team did last night and it worked just fine.
Time for all fans to just cut off the NFL until they put a stop to this b.s. no more money to a league that fails to uphold respect for our nation.
Botcott the NFL
“More ingrates.”
Uber-wealthy, highly-privileged, ingrates.
They should just head to Zimbabwe and enjoy their lives there.
These blacks wouldn’t have the rule of law, cars, immunizations, TVs, or really anything at all, if it weren’t for whites. Tens of millions of blacks are alive today around the world thanks to white inventions and farming techniques. How about some f-ing gratitude for all these “cultural appropriations.”
NFL = national fool league (t)

Yes we have that right, bro. Let's see what they do, when it starts affecting their bottom line.
They DO NOT have the right to sit. If the team or NFL says stand. They are at work, you have no right to free speech on the job. The 1st applies to the government and the people.
Clearly the Seahags and the NFL have no problem with the optics created by this behavior.
Seahawks are soon going to become most hated team. I’ve given a pass with the coach being a nutball 9/11 truther but this is going to snowball. Plus the loudmouth Bennett brother. Not good.
This is a team that has given a lot of fans around the country a lot to admire, but they blew it.

BUH byE NFL!!!
Do not expose your children to these poor role models.
Expose these poor role models to your children.
Yeah, makes sense, especially in light of the black kid on a bike who shot and robbed a 70 year old man who was watering his Chicago lawn. When 13% of the population is responsible for 50% of all murders, that segment of the population...not the remaining 87%...is the cause of the problem. Ask yourself this: Why are other minorities in the US (e.g., Asian, Indian) subject to much less discrimination? At what point does discrimination makes logical sense given what people see happening around them?
What bugs me is not their actual “protest” - but the stupid, meaningless buzzwords that they will spout to the media circus when its all done
Just like Kaepernick, they will mouth the empty cliches of “oppression” or “lack of resources” that are the sign of a lazy, low-level intellect who hasn’t bothered to really research or think-through anything. And we will all be expected to take it seriously, for some unknown reason.
The league should have put a stop to this from the get-go. This cannot be good for football. Now you're gonna start seeing fans lose respect for teams because the teams don't respect the flag and the republic for which it stands. They'll keep their BLM fans, but they'll lose people who are proud of their country.
If the NFL doesn't care about this, what was the point of playing the national anthem in the first place? To give disaffected idiots an opportunity to flip off America?
Stop giving them your money.
When they have to get real jobs, they might appreciate the opportunites this country offers.
What are they protesting? They are extremely overpaid men with low IQs and readily replaceable. They contribute noting of consequence to our health, welfare, and safety, merely a few hours of entertainment.
