A father and son who have spent 15 years making crop circles under the cover of darkness have revealed the painstaking process involved in leaving their intricate designs across the countryside.

Terry, 46, and Jack, 20, from Salisbury, revealed secrets behind the mysterious patterns on condition of anonymity and do not wish to give their surnames.

...

Jack was only five when Terry began designing formations but did not actively participate until he was 11. He said the process was exciting but exhausting.

'I usually feel done by the time I've walked into the field, but once you get a couple of hours in you start to feel the adrenaline pumping,' he said.

Anyone that ever believed that those were caused by extraterrestrials should have their voting rights denied.

Some farmers would make money selling the permission to go on their property to see the Crop Circles. The U.F.O. phenomenon is also a scam.

Or an even better question would be ... how much pay do the farmers lose because these jackwagons messed up their crops?

When I young and stupid, the book “Chariots Of The Gods” came out. Being young and stupid I thought it made sense. Until I looked into the claims, heh.

They charged admission to see the crop circles. Might not be too far-fetched that the farmers invited them.

Art Bell used to cover those stories all the time on radio.
The subject was boring for the most part, in my opion. Whenever I heard that the program topics would include ‘Crop Circles”, I usually changed the station for the duration of that report. Good for decoration, but not much else.

And there were some, after the method for creating them was shown and demonstrated, still clung to the belief that extraterrestrials created the crop circles.

I always felt that if aliens really wanted to show their presence without revealing themselves, they’d create “crop circles” on the tops of clouds where satellites and airliners could see them.

Bell made a show and a lot of money on a very gullible audience.

Let’s see Terry and Jack actually prove their claims.
Go out at night and be recorded actually making a complex
figure in the dark.

Hopefully the area farmers will band together and file civil and
criminal complaints against these idiots.

Personally, I think they are lying.

There are three types of crop circles:
1. Obvious fakes.
2. Darned good fakes
3. Can not be explained. e.g. too perfect and the damage to the plants is not consistent with someone laying them down.

And five hours? Fuggitaboutit.

The photos I’m seeing are from the latter group.

I’m not saying they’re made by aliens. I’m saying this explanation does not fly for me. I’d like to actually watch them make one.

One of the members of my congregation caught a prankster trying to make crop circles out of his cornfield. The vandal is currently being submerged in the Lake of Fire instead of being submerged in corn.

Two reactions:

1. I am so disappointed. :)

2. They better not release their last names. There will be a lot of people who are mad at them.

That’s what I would do if I spent 80 trillion dollars and 250 years in deep-freeze to travel to an alien world - Get out and trample cryptic patterns in their grain.

There were actually a couple of guys that made this claim about 20 years ago. But it proved to be a hoax. They couldn’t come close to what is actually being produced all over the world.

But they got their 15 minutes. :-)
