Funny? Sweet
Many I talked to did not see this as funny, but a prophetic call that the Black Americans gave to Donald Trump, a mantle that had been prayed over, fasted over, and that they took quite seriously. I was weeping, several others I have chatted with said the same sensation they felt that it was a historic moment. He got whacked by the Holy Spirit.

Funny, like a Clown?
I didn’t see it as “funny”, I saw it as a touching moment. Scenes such as shown in this video are really setting off alarm bells among the left. Look for the “Trump is a racist” rhetoric to really ramp up now to try to keep everyone on the Democrat plantation.
Dunno how funny it was, but it felt like there was meaning behind this. Many Christians are praying for Trump. I think he is God’s man for this hour.
I think Trump was genuinely touched. I was touched. It was meant in all sincerity and I believe Trump felt the sincerity of it. As others have noted, he may well have felt the presence of the Holy Spirit, not in the shawl, but in the moment itself as he stood on that stage before that audience.
Absolutely NOTHING funny about this heartfelt moment of Trump receiving a prayer shawl from a pastor who prayed and fasted over it. The pastor also spoke words of wisdom when he presented him with the Bible: Let this Book be your guide in hard times to come. Trump will take this to heart, like most of us did when we saw this unfolding before our eyes. Our eyes saw and rejoiced. Too bad others who could not see, thought it was funny.
I read on another thread that the prayer shawl was from Israel. ....truly we living in history in the making
There was nothing funny about this, unless of course your a Hillary supporter or don't believe in God or the Blessings from Him...
Have you ever asked why the arrows that have been aimed at Trump since he announced haven't hit? Have you ever asked why when he says something, curtains open up so we are allowed to see, into the House, the Senate, The White House, the FBI, the CIA, the IRS? Have you ever asked why when he went to Mexico he and the President of Mexico will be friends? Have you ever asked why when Hillary tries to slander him with lies, it comes ten fold back onto her and her ilk? Bill, Barky, Loretta Lynch, Comey?
Those of us that know about The Lord knows why, we asked, we are receiving...

We have been truly blessed as a nation. Whenever we seem to be at our darkest hour the Lord has always sent foth a person to do his work and guide us back to freedom.
I have no doubt that Mr Trump is the instrument through which the Lord is working. I don’t believe any human being could endure the relentless assault from the establishment and their media puppets he has been subjected to unless the Holy Spirit was truly with them.
What a lovely gift from the heart. I am humbled.

Very very uplifting and encouraging... for both the “black community” and for Mr. Trump’s candidacy.
(I think if Mr. Trump can visit similar “black” churches in just a few more places, say NYC and LA and ChiTown and Miami and Atlanta? or?)
if he can make the time to do this, the mass media machine will be UNABLE to suppress the news... word will get out...
and (given Mr. Trump’s pro-economy/pro-jobs positions especially) he will be able to secure a major fraction of the “black vote”
the whole thing depends on actually getting the word out to the “black community” that there’s now a candidate with politics that will be of some positive benefit, an alternative to just more D party oppression or enslavement or taking advantage of “black people”
I’ve read through the comments, but I don’t understand the significance of the tallit, or prayer shawl, for Christians. What message was the pastor conveying in presenting this tallit to Donald Trump?
