A Massachusetts mom is firing back on social media after a stranger insulted her son for wearing a tutu at the park.
3-year-old Roo loves his purple tutu.
His mom, Jen Anderson Shattuck, says he wears it everywhere - which she says, has been fine until a run-in at the park with a grown man who took issue with Roo and his tutu.
In fact, the stranger compared the fact that he was allowed to wear it to child abuse.
Shattuck posted about the encounter on her Facebook page.
She says while extremely invasive and upsetting, she and her wife would not be "intimated" and will continue to let him wear whatever he wants. v Her viral post has been shared more than 56,000 times. v The family says they are "grateful" for the overwhelming support, which is pouring in from around the globe.
Ten bucks says that this was either Boston,Cambridge or the town in which I grew up (not that far from Boston).
Some dykes are nuts. It’s not worth blowing a gasket over.
Homosexuals are manufactured, not born that way.
It sounds like child abuse to me.
Damn child abuse before the little squirt put on the tutu.
Who in the hell names their kid Roo?
he’s a little kid with a baseball cap... and a tutu... so what...
lighten up francis.
IDK......I was born heterosexual . It wasn’t manufactured.
Stupid is as stupid does
They probably want him to wear it and lay it out for him. I doubt the kid knows any different one way or the other.
Everyone is born heterosexual. That’s the default setting. In order to build a homosexual, some retooling needs to be done.
It is the SJW, brainwashed mother who is adding her ideology and values to this situation, far more than anyone else is.
In her twisted, evangelical progressive LGBT way, She is probably absolutely delighted she has found one person at a park who is verifying all her stereotypes and fantasies about how the world works.
Surprise. Not Cambridge or Brookline.
They live in Plymouth.
My sister was getting her nails done last week, saw a woman and her 8 year old son getting their nails done..the pussifying of America continues..boys thinking its OK to wear nail polish
Fair enough. Have a happy and safe holiday, FRiend.
Liar.
A couple of years ago I saw a young quite handsome man trudging down the street in Santa Fe NM wearing a long white bridal gown.
He looked like a man walked like a man and I have always wondered about that. Did he lose a bet?
Exactly.
My initial reaction was, "Where's this kid's father?".
Then, after reading the rest of the article, I was just sad. Poor kid will never know what it's like to be just a normal boy. Bluntly, he won't know how to do it.
That is full on so wrong!!!!
