My cousin a very experienced hiker, fell to his death son Half Dome. Have never got over it. We used to go there every summer.

Dang, I missed your post. I hate when that happens.
Half Done is such an oddball of a rock. So many climbers have climbed it and put their picks and whatever they use to climb Half Dome.
There are so many really neat places where you can sit on rocks when the water is running under you. It is such a beautiful place!
Perhaps some day you will be able to go back there just to see the magic of it all.
