The trooper pulled over a vehicle with three people shortly after midnight near U.S. 95 and Boulder Highway, according to investigators. A man in the vehicle jumped out of the vehicle and was pursued by the trooper.
Boulder Highway is closed between U.S. 95 and Lamb Boulevard in either direction.
Two people who remained inside the vehicle after the traffic stop have been detained for questioning.

The older I get, the worse my dyslexia seems to get. I was trying to figure out how a badger was protecting a Trooper. Sigh, but still an excellent outcome to what could have been a bad situation!
I had a drunk punch my Badge one night. Too bad it was over the 'shock-plate' on my vest ;-)
