The three things that lawyers and clients most often fight about in litigation are: payment for the lawyers; the direction of the case; and any blame due the lawyers for a loss or other adversity. As with marriages, between lawyers and clients, money is the biggest cause of breakups.
If, by “direction of the case,” you include that the lawyers know that their client is guilty, and must behave unethically to defend them, then you are correct.
