A mistake in the universe others deliberately overlooked, the child obviously left behind when the crack in time took her parents and no one else asked “where are your parents?”

Donna was a decent foil, and good for not being his romantic interest.

Clara was a step down, a mystery they kept around after the mystery was solved, and turned into his critic without being his conscience, his guide to humanity when others filled that role better, and the writers knew it because they upped all the ties to earlier episodes and historical characters as if to say “we’re violating the spirit of the show, look, trivia! aren’t you happy?”

When i saw the “blink” episode’s ending, my thought was “Yeah, they’re frozen looking at each other in the basement. But what happens when the lightbulb burns out?”
