Windows crashing and producing the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) is seldom pleasant, or convenient.
It's also seldom as conspicuously displayed as in the image below, which The Register found on Facebook late last week. By your correspondent's reckoning, that there is a five-storey BSOD.
If you can't see the pic below, click here (it is planted in Facebook's garden, so if you'd prefer not to visit, you were warned).

When Bill Gates dies he will show up to the pearly gates(?) and St. Pete will drop a very large hour glass right at his feet...bah-stid.

When I play the MSN games and I lose if I clicked the next window to play again, instead of going all the way back to the beginning I would get the "Blue Screen of Death". Scared the cr_p out of me until I finally realized it wasn't doing any harm.(at least I never figured out that it did any harm) All I had to do was keep going back to the beginning and start the game again from there. Haven't got a "Blue Screen of Death" since.

I’ve seen more of those than I want to think about working on computers for 15 years...
I had a friend who started teaching me to work on computers, who found a screenshot of a Windows NT BSOD, dropped it on my computer while I was in the john.
I looked at it for a few seconds, realized it wasn’t moving, and moved the mouse..it went away. The BSOD used with NT would scroll down the screen while it created a fault report.
The ones used with XP and newer just do an instant report. All gibberish, I have to look up the error number to find out what it means. Sometimes it can be a mess...
