Dearman, along with his father, went to authorities to turn himself in, while Lester went to Citronelle Police to give her account of what had happened.

Well it seems that he at least respects his father.

I am guessing his father persuaded him to turn himself in to the local LEO.

Details of the murders will likely be limited, but a friend of the family said they were not just murdered, but mutilated.
