Who are you Heroes in today's Book?
Rudy.
Trump...brave, truthful, good.
My current heroes include Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Ann Coulter, Sheriff David Clarke, Trey Gowdy, The Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Jason Chaffetz, Laura Ingraham, Judge Jeanine Pirro, Rudy Giuliani, Michelle Malkin, Jesse Watters, Thomas Sowell, and Walter Williams. Did I miss any?
Yes. Agreed.
But Rudy pulled us up here through 9/11 while the state and fed guys were either no where to be found or freaking out.
But Trump is all those things.
And Rudy being of Italian descent doesn’t hurt :)
Right now?
Rodrigo Duterte.
He is demolishing the government corruption and drug trade here in Mindanao.
He is getting the same BS treatment by the media that Trump is getting - lies and mischaracterization - but the people see the truth and support him. He has the establishment running for cover, because they know their days are numbered.
Also Monica Crowley
Trump for being the first republican candidate to punch back at the media and call out the democrats.
You missed Sarah Palin, probably the bravest of them all. Nobody in my long memory has ever been so abused and she still holds her head high.
The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost, my mother, my dad, my grandfather, grandmother, and a thousand more that came before.
I cannot believe I missed Sarah Palin. I’m due for bed is my excuse.
There’s few real hero’s in life. The word is thrown around far to much.

See my Freep Page. I agree. But I do make an exception for family...:)
i’ve recently been having an extended admiration-awe-love for Eliza Hamilton, Alexander’s wife and for 50 years after his death, his widow.
It’s hard to imagine anyone who is pretty much pure goodness. But she seems to be just exactly that in her long, productive, amazing life.
I have often said that the two most important people of the last 1000 years are 1) George Washington and 2) Martin Luther.
I know that will not make everyone around here happy...at least #2. But it’s sort of the way I view the world.....
