some people never have any visible problem with faith
some people do have to struggle with it
and some people don’t even bother

for that middle group....collaborative evidence helps them a lot

these Israeli archeological finds are VERY GOOD ... they do help a lot of people find faith...and they sometimes help explain or clarify things even for the first group (those who have faith and don’t require any collaboration)

a lot obviously (imho) went off kilter in the first, say, 200 years....... and much has been lost or muddied up since then. These Israeli discoveries help make the received Biblical record clearer and more “real” for many folks who are open to considering or building a good faith life for themselves and possibly for their families too

Very well said.

If skeptics would only be honest and investigate these archeological finds - which all corroborate the scriptures - they would find a new faith in what the Bible reports as fact...and maybe they would find faith in the God of that Bible.
