I don’t know, the Jury is still out.
When I was 18 I had a bad motorcycle accident and had major road rash that required almost 2 sq feet of Skin Grafting. This was in 1978. I was given a prescription for ALL THE PERCODAN I could eat for 3 months before the surgery. YES I became addicted, but after the surgery I went through withdrawls in the hospital, it was terrible and swore to Never ever go through it again. As a result I don’t take pain pills until it is absolutely necessary and Yes I have a bottle of Vicodin in my truck.

Oxycodone was before Oxycontin. The only difference is what it is cut with
Aspirin,Codein,Acetominiphen.

I know how true that is, I worked for years in the pharmaceutical industry. Manufacture and distribution of Schedule II narcotics.
Is the pharmaceutical Cartel under-regulated? I was at one time VERY familiar with the CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) and (IMO) they are obscenely OVER-regulated.
