I saw a story on that, and immediately realized that she was a democrat. It was literally FIVE PARAGRAPHS before the report finally identified party affiliation - which was how I knew she was a democrat. Had she been a republican, the party affiliation would have been part of the headline.
They tried to remove her when she was charged, but they didn’t have the votes.
She presented no defense. She was found guilty on all counts. Could face 7 years in jail.
She was the first Democrat and first woman elected to that position (it’s been an elective office since 1980 election).
doesn’t give the appearance of being the slightest bit repentant either.
Pretty sure she thinks she’s being punished for exposing the “old boys” network that was passing around dirty emails.
I wish I could totally vilipend this issue:

Any parent with a modicum of mental health should take his/her (sorry: its) child out of any secular school, public or private.
I know that eventually they will come knocking on parochial schools for 2 reasons:
1) The secular schools, particularly the public, will have eroded due to lack of public interest (liberalism usually breeds alienation).
2) They will be desperate for community and validation — but on their terms. They have to make a statement.
my daughter is committed to sending our grandson to Catholic school precisely because of things like this. there is no way to pass on your values to your children in public school. it’s why we sent our’s to Catholic school.
Rush was playing snippets of Trump’s Milwaukie speech today. He did a great job of framing the case for the African American vote over Hillary. Let’s see if they have a clue when it’s time to vote.
The last Catholic school just closed here, we have to go to the next county to find one. It takes a real daily commitment to get them there, as there is no busing. It’s almost impossible for some families to arrange it and pay the high tuition.
no busing here either, but there are lots of catholic schools and they are very well attended. my kids never took a school bus! they downsized some, but i think they are coming back. When xsteen was in grade school they started having three classes of each grade at St James. She can’t wait until a year from now when Gord will begin preschool at age 2 at Corpus Christi Preschool where his mom, aunt and uncle all went. They take them at 2 and not potty trained now! it will be a FRACTION of what they are currently paying for daycare.
Ouch.
Ouch.
