I almost always lock the doors. But I admit to leaving the window rolled down, as I like the wind coming through. Things aren't bad in local neighborhoods where I live out west, unlike other places I have visited in the northeast with ghetto elements (Philly, Trenton, Washington, etc.). When back east, I definitely roll up the windows.
I would like to see a radio-controlled teargas canister for such a situation. Should fit in the map pouch on the door.
Half right. ALWAYS lock the doors. Don’t roll down the windows at any speed under 25mph. Above that, enjoy the wind, also it airs out the car.
In valet parking situation, have a key ring with ONLY the ignition key on it...no house,office, shop or wife’s car keys for the “bad guy” to make an impression of.
If at a shopping mall in the evening, never park near the outer lanes if it will be dark when you are walking to the car. Find another, safer slot, or another safer mall.
If the mall is overrun with feral youth, go home and shop by computer. ESPECIALLY if you are a WOMAN!!
