That documentary sure made it look like he was railroaded. Didn’t they need his testimony in order to convict the older guy?

WOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

He may or may not have been part of the murder - but the prosecution was totally totally corrupt ... and that was the point.

AWESOME! That kid was railroaded just like his uncle, even moreso.
What sort of heartless POS do what they did to that kid.
Avery didn’t kill that woman, one of the local POS did.

Yes. Dassey said he and his uncle did it. Entire confession fed to him, under psychological persuasion.

And the father should be released too ... whether or not he was guilty ... this type of prosecution lays the groundwork for hundreds and thousands of free men and women to be put away. This was a tiny example of a Hillary administration.

“What sort of heartless POS do what they did to that kid.”

I’ve long suspected the actual killer is one of the cops who investigated the murder.

It had to be a cop in order to have the victim’s car keys AND to have access to the ‘murder scene’ after-the-fact to plant the keys in plain sight.

I certainly wouldn’t put it past them. But they could have easily hired someone to follow the photographer after her shoot, cops keep themselves at other places and the rest is simply planting of evidence.

Yeah - it wouldn't surprise me. A lot of careers and shame were tied to that case ... the cops had already behaved like sociopaths ... and I think that final prosecutor got rousted for molesting kids or something (I forget exactly what it was - that totally annoying black haired guy)

I'd say the odds are 6 in 7 it wasn't who they pinned it on. It was highly, highly, highly disgusting to watch. The family was just borderline retarded ... the evil was with the cops.

Mostly though, scary to see it can happen. I witnessed a much smaller scale thing when I was a kid. I am totally behind cops in general, but that doesn't mean they are not extremely capable, as all mankind is, of abusing their power, especially when the scum gathers in pockets and a whole group of them become corrupt slightly or a lot.

It's just another reason why a HIllary administration is so scary ... human beings unconsciously take their lead from the top if the humans are the follower type ... and at least 80% of Americans are ... the follower type. Even if they think and try to have ethics, their ethical standard is laid out by whomever they unconsciously perceive as the leader.

It is always the goal to get a conviction, not to find the perpetrator. Tat is how prosecutors and cops look at tongs. The ‘search for the truth’ is not relevant in criminal cases.

And I worked as an investigator for a city attorney’s office.

Yep - that's exactly what happened.

Years later the naive parents of the yoot would say, in response to the yoot's anger that they didn't lift a finger (or a voice) to defend him "we trusted the police to do their jobs." ... in other words, they fed him to the wolves.

That yoot grew older, and realized the world is not perfect ... does not carry resentment ... but shakes his head when he watches 'making a murderer' and knows there are many people watching saying 'they are just doing their jobs' ... although in this case it was so blatant I think even the yoot's parents could put up only a weak case in favor of the police.

It's the fundamental principle behind why government must be kept small. It only leads to bringing out the worst in man. Pride, sloth, greed, ambition and blindness are the first 5 traits that come to mind. It's a faceless blob that has no consciousness that it's dealing with human beings.

Glad to see this. His legal counsel was a joke and should be in jail themselves.

I do think his Uncle is guilty though.

The police in his case framed an already guilty man

I am beyond thrilled to hear this. How that young man could have been convicted after that obviously manipulated and coerced confession is absolutely beyond me. No question about it, it was all on video.

Pretty much what I think. Steven Avery is guilty, and the prosecution framed/railroaded him, if that makes sense, that you can frame the guilty party.

Avery should be let out; convictions obtained by corrupt prosecutors should not stand.

Didn’t they need his testimony in order to convict the older guy?

DNA was enough to convict his Uncle Steve Avery but why they went after a 16 yr old with mental capabilities of a 2nd grader was always a mystery to me.

If you watch the unedited police interview you will see him making it up as he went, the two detectives feeding him info (what did you do to her head? what did you do to her in the garage?) after he got the answers to those questions wrong, they would start the intimidation tactics.

It was messed up watching this unfold in a three hour video.
