A government report finds that the cost of expanding Medicaid to millions more low-income people is increasing faster than expected, raising questions about a vital part of President Barack Obama’s health care law.

The law provided for the federal government to pay the entire cost of the Medicaid expansion from 2014 through the end of this year.

Obama has proposed an extra incentive for states that have not yet expanded Medicaid: three years of full federal financing no matter when they start. But the new cost estimates could complicate things.

In a recent report to Congress, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said the cost of expansion was $6,366 per person for 2015, about 49 percent higher than previously estimated. …

Nobody but nobody saw this coming. It’s UNEXPECTED. Since day one I’ve called Obamacare “The no way in this or any other universe affordable health care act”.

It doesn’t matter. Its like all statist, progressive, nanny-state government. Start with the LIES and political talking points, get the CBO to torture the numbers to have them say whatever you want, and have the media fall in line.

The lies aren’t exposed for years later anyway. Obama, Pelosi, and Reid, being particularly stupid, or indifferent, have found the cracks in obamacare coming almost immediately.

But no matter - we have a totally fiat, unbacked currency, under the control of our progressive-statist-elites, and a Federal Reserve that can create unlimited debt and manipulate interest rates to zero. Literally - they will just “print” more money and issue more debt to cover the problems.

I think the house should pass a bill fully funding obamacare so people can rest easy that their health care costs will not go up and they will get the best care on the planet. And those rich people can pay for it.

HAHAHAHAHA! Just kidding. I vote for its abolishment. Not that it matters to me. I’ve not had health care insurance since January 1, 2014 (the day it was implemented). I’ve saved, in after tax dollars, the price of a small home in the area where I live.

A 49% overage is close enough for Democrat spenders.

Yes, except that if all they can find is a 49% overrun, they are still lying.

49% off the original estimate. Not bad for a government estimate!

God knows we need a revolutionary change in our government. I'm voting and praying for the devil I don't know. I'M VOTING FOR TRUMP!

I know family who hate Hillary and are voting for Libertarian Gary Johnson. What they don't want to hear or understand is that their voting out of "principal" only serves to benefit Hillary.

The enemy of fair, good and better - is perfect and best.

A glass half full of water is better than one that's empty. VOTE TRUMP!
