What does intersex mean anyway? No penis?
I don’t know. I just remember a few years ago a title s/he won was questioned and an inquiry was held. I remember reading at the time that internally Semenya was male and only had male reproductive organs. I don’t know what the external configuration was exactly. It’s possible Semenya has some external female characteristics, probably caused by congenital hormonal issues. I think “intersex” is used to describe a really big variety of different developmental and/or chromosomal abnormalities.
