Hahahahah. They are all liars, and have managed to fool many people that they have some affinity for objectivity.
This is just the press, covering for the press, advancing the myth that the press is supposed to be honest. No, the press is SUPPOSED TO BE DISHONEST. It's up to the people to figure out what is going on. The tradition of the press is to ADVOCATE. It has always been so.
No they don't. They used to be serious about maintaining a pretense of objectivity but even that is disappearing. They truly believe the cause is everything and the issue is never the issue. Today all "journalism" is propaganda.
People who believe that are gullible. The purpose of objectivity is to reveal the truth. That is an individual pursuit. Journalists are the source of the myth of their own objectivity, and they push this myth so people will trust them.
It has worked, no doubt. It is an effective lie. Gullible people have accepted the myth of "the press is supposed to be objective" as truth.

The myth of objective journalism has been one of the greatest triumphs of the Left’s long game. That Americans bought into the myth shows the naivete of a nation where a handshake was once a bond. Believing others to be essentially honest is a peculiar American trait that has been slowly eroded over the last century.
Journalists were once properly classed with actors who make a living from falsehood. The history of our press is one of partisanship and deceit from the beginning. The few honest journalists were anomalies whose reputations have been appropriated by industry to further their subversive agendas.
US media doesn’t know from ‘objective’
TV news is positively ‘unwatchable’, because of their bias.
The DNC has a National Security Offender who engaged in nothing less than Treason running for the White House. The President does not obey the laws of the land. Treason on multiple levels is in evidence and yet liberals tout the DNC as virtue - representing evil as good and vice versa.
They owe the People the Truth that the Freedom of the Press demands....they are severely in arrears...

Just what I was going to say, they have always been biased. But you know what, that is supposed to be OK, that is what freedom of the press is supposed to cover.
The big lie was getting people to believe they weren’t biased, but objective fact tellers, so if you disagree with what they say it is a problem with you, you dispute their “facts”. Which are nothing more than political positions.
The college journalism courses now teach there is no “objective truth” or “objective” anything.
It’s all political bias, racism, classism, and spin.
That’s why we’ve seen the complete abandonment of journalistic integrity because their is none.
Awards are given to the reporters who can spin the best.
There’s no Truth with a a capital “T”; there’s only perspective based on bias. Make your ‘fake but accurate’ story stick and you’ve won the day.
The press has NEVER been neutral, they have always picked sides to support.
However, up until the 1950s there were always another newspaper to present the other side. Starting in the 1950s newspapers began their great descent into oblivion.
Where once even the smallest market would have at least two and often more newspapers, today most cities have one, and that one is owned by a larger organization that may control the content of many newspapers across the country to the point only one view is presented nationwide.
Newspapers (owners) are willing to die for the cause, and die they will as other sources of information become available.

Objectivity is a requirement for any attempt to evaluate the facts and pursue the truth of any issue. Objectivity is no less important for the writer as it is for the reader. Any writer who purports to reflect the reality of a situation must be objective in choosing the facts that reveal the truth. If he selects and inserts only those facts that attempts to shape a false narrative, then his writing is worthless to anyone who is interested in discerning the truth. There was always a bias in editorial writing, but newspapers once guarded their reputations as purveyors of factual information when covering the news, since their readership would disappear if their readers began to doubt the veracity of their reporting.
This all changed when cultural Marxism began to assert itself during the 19th century. Journalists now hold no commitment to the pursuit of truth. Indeed, the concept of truth itself has been denied outright. Their only interest is to elevate their preferred statist and collectivist cronies in pursuit of their goal of creating a socialist and communist utopia. The destruction of any aspect of our past cultural concern for the truth, which is rooted in Judeo-Christian moral and ethical principles, is being relentlessly pursued. Journalists today have become nothing more than liars, thieves, and murderers.
The Brown Shirt Media can not be objective and cover the issues. If they do Trump wins and they know it. A successful businessman who has been in the public eye for decades whom no one previously had anything but positive remarks toward previously has to be turned into the incarnation of Satan or the Rats lose.

During the Kronkite era the “journalists” tried to hide their bias.
