My “Representative” is a #nevertrumper.
November is November. For Trump’s sake we need to punch back twice as hard now to stop the insane fragging. The GOP are taking your vote for granted. Don’t give it up just yet.
Agree and disagree. They should rally around the nominee unless the nominee is doing total stupid. But I’d rather they’d be honest than lie about their support.
It's very simple: we hasten the inevitable.
You and a great many conservative Republicans have long known or suspected something wasn't right with the party you've all signed on with.
Now, thanks to Trump, you know for sure and you know their names!
A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious.A broken and divided house needs a world class real estate developer to make it right and we got one!
But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly.
But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.
For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.
He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist.
A murderer is less to be feared.

No. In an Article V Convention, the GOP will bend over backwards to give the left everything they want. This is about power and $$$ for all of them. They do NOT care about us. They have proven that over and over again. Those that think an Article V convention would produce good things for the Country are delusional.
Trump loses, it's succession, revolution or kneel and accept your chains. Those are the options. That is how important this election is.
From 2000-2006, The R's held the White House, House & Senate. We got the so-called "Patriot" Act, Medicare Part D and the beginning of the 'too big to fail'/bailout policies that were expanded under obunghole. No, no and HELL NO. The GOP is worse than the left in that they will promise you the world to get elected, and then piss on you and tell you it's raining. I CANNOT - I WILL NOT - support that, ever again.
TRUMP is evidently RIGHT OVER THE TARGET; he’s certainly
getting enough FLAK!
The GOP-e Hillary Rodham voters are forever-more “outing”
themselves as DHIMMI-CRATS.
I am with you on that, though I stopped identifying as a Republican years ago.
There’s another avenue besides secession that will actually happen. It’s a form of going Galt.
I have a family member who runs a large business and has stated that if the Canklepotamus jacks taxes through the roof then there’s no incentive to work as hard as he does just to give it to her.
His plan is to work enough to make a minimum amount then vacation the rest of the year. There are many hard working, productive people who will just stop busting their tails.
The economy will resemble George Costanza after a cold swim.
I have advocated this for some time. The fact is, there IS a way to 'opt out' of the system, but it requires sacrifice. Now, most - not all, but most - people like their stuff. Their mortgages, new/semi-new cars, toys, big screen TV's, etc. BUT, there is a small faction of folks out here, such as myself, who have come to the realization that the more debt you have, the stronger the slave master's grip.
Going Galt is the answer. HOWEVER, it must be done completely and, again, will require a GREAT sacrifice. I know the sacrifices I have made and my family has made thus far. It's been rough, and it will get tougher. As the saying goes, however, FREEDOM ISN'T FREE. Truthfully, as long as we are stuck with mortgages, car payments, insurance premiums, credit card debt and such, we are NOT truly free.
I agree it’s difficult if not impossible for a modern middle class family to go Galt. What I was describing was that it will automatically start with the very wealthy. The family member is able to retire comfortably now. Why work 15 hours a day for nothing?
Sidelining the smartest, most productive people in the country will be a possible death blow to an already anemic economy.
It won't work. The same people who bought off the Republican Establishment will buy/blackmail/threaten the leadership of any new conservative party.
We either determine we're going to take back control of the GOP, or we lose. Period.
As far as strategic voting goes, I will NEVER vote for anyone who has been part of the nevertrump scheming, and that includes enablers. I don’t think I’m alone. Hopefully the likes of Ted Cruz and John Kasich will NEVER win another election!
And so goes the vote purity song. It isn’t about you, news flash. It’s about America, and above even that about making an opening for God.
It would take quite a cataclysm to produce something new to take the traditional place of the GOP. I agree that it is far more plausible to wrench the GOP back to where it ought to be.
It is for this reason that the party stayed unified even after Dole, McCain and Romney.
Then the tea party won in 2010 and 2014. And the GOP-E betrayed us.
Then Trump wins the most votes in Republican primary history. And the GOP-E betrays us again.
If Trump loses, I will conclude that the GOP-E played a significant factor. I will also conclude they are my political enemy and an enabler of the left.
It is easier to kill off the GOP-E than the left. Don't vote for Republicans at any level. The media won't help them and the left will replace them soon enough.
Then you can take on the left without getting fragged by phonies on your own side. The principles of individual political, economic and religious liberty will still be there to be defended. And who knows where the political pendulum will be at that time. The left will be in charge during the interim but if Trump loses that is where we will be anyway.
Would you vote for a nevertrumper??? Sorry...they went too far. Once Trump had a clear majority of delegates, they had an obligation to us to follow the will of voters. They disgust me.
Maybe, just maybe. It would depend on the bigger picture as to whether that was the wisest of the available possibilities.
