I think if you’d gone with the Deadpool script and idea in 2005, they would have turned you down flat. They’ve reached a stage where some Marvel project can be funny and cynical.
Technically Deadpool was not a Marvel project. He was sold to Fox in the X-Men deal. And yeah actually that story has been bouncing around a long time.
