'The Detroit Free Press reports Muslims played a critical role in the November midterm elections.
Imam Mahdy Bray, Speaking at a Muslim American Society and Islamic Circle of North America convention in Dearborn, highlighted the effective effort to turn out Muslim voters in Virginia.
The effort was so organized that Muslim taxi drivers in northern Virginia took the day off to ferry Muslims to the polls, said Imam Mahdy Bray, a speaker at the convention. Volunteers also made phone calls to Muslims in Virginia to urge them to vote, he said.
As a result, Democrat James Webb ousted incumbent Republican George Allen by about 9,000 votes in a race in which 50,000 Muslims went to the polls -- 47,000 of them voting for Webb, Bray said.

If she’s in trouble in Virginia, then she’s in trouble in lots of other states too. Would love to see polls from some other battleground states, to see if this is a solid trend.

The “Khan thing” is killing Cankles in three ways. 1) Trump immediately grabbed the news cycle away from Cankles just ONE DAY after the DNC convention. You say, “It’s bad news.” I say “There’s no such thing as bad publicity.” Trump just got millions of dollars of free air time for his people to go back on the attack.
2. Khan himself is now being viewed, not as a victim, but as a hypocrite. He is supporting Cankles who supported the war, and attacks Trump, who did NOT support the war.
3. When someone says, “Well he opposed radical Islam,” BINGO. Game, set match. So we’re back to Trump 101, radical Islam is a threat and Cankles can’t/won’t stop it.
If he had come out with a copy of the Koran in one hand and the Constitution in the other and explained how they weren’t compatible, we’d be in trouble.
Finally, there is emerging quite quickly the fact that 13 Muslims have died in US military service, but more than 15 were killed by Muslim soldiers at Ft. Hood and elsewhere.
No, Trump wins this whole exchange. The only question is, did he do this solely on instinct or did he have to think about it?
