Three militants, who are suspected to be behind the abduction of Keralite priest Fr Tom Uzhunnalil and killing of 16 people at a old-age home of Missionaries of Charity in Aden in Yemen, have been reported arrested in the war-torn nation.
The external affairs ministry has confirmed the arrest of militants, Manorama News reported on Friday. However, it is still not known where the priest is and when he can be safely brought back to India..
However, the latest news renews hope of finding the priest.
Contrary to earlier belief, the militants reportedly said that they belonged to al-Qaeda. It was earlier said that they belonged to Islamic State.
Gunmen stormed the refuge home killing 16 people before abducting Fr Tom on March 4.
Ping
Is EVERYONE afraid to kill the enemy ?
Because the people who captured them aren’t Muslim.
THanks for posting this. In my parish, we are still praying for Fr. Tom.
I’m still praying for him too.
